On the 23rd April at 5,30 p.m. in the Aula Magna of the Istituti Parificati Cavour Pacinotti, Viale Machiavelli 33 in Florence, will take place the presentation of the book “Caltavuturo: Atlante dei Beni Culturali”, edited by the Istituto Poligrafico Europeo di Palermo. Attending to the ceremony, the president of the local Pro Loco “Phiale aurea”, Antonino Granata, and many other florentine and sicilian authorities, including Palazzo Spinelli staff and all the lecturers who worked in the past years in the wonderful Sicilian small city located in the province of Palermo, caring for some restoration courses financed by the Regione Sicilia. ...continues»

On 16th February started the school-site of restoration of the marble sculpture allocated in Palazzo Vecchio “La Civiltà Toscana” by Pio Fedi (1861), one of the best Florentine sculptures of the 19th century. This restoration project is part of a series of events which the city of Florence is going to organize in order to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Republic birth (1861-2011) and the role of Florence as Capital of Italy (1865-1871). ...continues»
