Interpreting the Evidence:
Depending whether a single or dual
approach to the survey and inspection has been adopted ,will determine
the manner in which the information and evidence is presented.
Any report presented after
adopting the dual approach should include the following data :-
# Description of the condition of the external plasterwork generally.
# Specific problems found in both the external plasterwork and the
building structure.
# Suggested remedies ; Short and long term options.[ including
alternative techniques of
repair, replacement and conservation.]
: Urgent repairs.
: Phased programme of repairs.
# Drawings and photographic record.[suitable for both identification
of defects and proposed ]
remedies and for replication of all new plaster
mouldings and ornamentation.
# Future maintenance regime.
# Proposed costings and financial budget.
# Suggested programme and plan of work.
