Course Structure and Objective

Florence is the city that, hosts the greatest number of masterpieces and people working in the field of world artistic heritage conservation. It offers the best opportunities to acquire and perfect skills and knowledge for safeguarding cultural heritage.
Our Institute organises intensive courses in May for people working in the restoration sector and enthusiasts who want to explore specific topics in depth.
The fresco restoration course provides participants with basic techniques used to paint frescoes and mural paintings.

Training and Location

Monday to Friday, every morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a total of 40 hours.
The same course will be held again in September.

The course will take place in our laboratories in Via delle Casine 21/rosso in Florence.

The course is open to all applicants, Italian and international. The course is taught in Italian. Due to the practical nature of the course, an elementary level of the language is sufficient to participate.
